What is your cancellation policy?
Every home has a cancellation policy applied to it at the point of booking that defines the terms of cancellation.

I'm having trouble creating my account. It says my postal code isn't valid.
It's OK! Just put in anything that works, then contact us, and we'll fix the issue once your account is created.

How do I cancel my booking?
First, please make sure you have read and understood the cancellation policy that applies to your booking. Our policies' terms vary and may offer a full, partial, or no refund depending on how close your check-in date and time are.

Can I change the dates of an existing booking?
Depending on the holiday home's availability, you might be able to change your booking dates. Please note that if your desired dates are not available or the host is unable to accommodate a date change, your original booking dates will remain.

What are the house rules?
The house rules are usually the same for each holiday home and can be found in the House Rules section in the listing. Please keep in mind that quiet hours in Portugal are from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (23:00–7:00).

What time can I check-in?
Check-in is between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. (16h00–20h00). In the event of an issue, speak directly to your host.

Why is check-out at 10:00 a.m. (10:00)?
Check-out is at 10:00 AM to allow the cleaner enough time to clean the home for the next guests. Your host will meet you at the home at that time. In the event of an issue, speak directly to your host.

What is the address?
For security reasons, we are unable to provide the exact address until the booking is confirmed. However, the map will provide you with a general idea of the location. Directions to the home will be provided at the time of booking.

What amenities can I find in the home?
If you scroll down to the amenities section in the listing, you will see a long list of all the amenities that are available in and around the home.

Are towels, linens, pots and pans, etc. provided?
Yes! You don't need to bring any of that with you. All holiday homes will provide fresh towels, quality linens, and enough utensils for the maximum number of guests to cook and enjoy a meal.

Does the home provide a high chair and/or crib for infants?
Most holiday homes will provide equipment for infants. If a home doesn't have it listed and children are allowed, contact your host directly for more information.

What methods of payment are available?
We accept online payments through PayPal or bank transfers.

When will I be charged?
You will be charged for your reservation the moment the host confirms your stay. For homes on Instant Book, this will be immediate. Payment is always taken upfront.

Are there any additional charges or fees?
The total price shown, once you select your dates and number of guests, includes all taxes and fees with no hidden costs. However, please note that the Algarve now requires a Tourist Tax, payable in cash at check-in (unless otherwise specified). This additional fee was introduced in April-May 2024 in several cities across the Algarve. The exact amount varies by location and is detailed in each holiday rental listing.

Do I have to pay a damage deposit?
The damage deposit is required and taken before or once you arrive at your holiday home. It can be sent via PayPal or as cash and handed directly to your host. It will be refunded to you within 7 days after your departure following a satisfactory inspection of the property.

Why do you need my passport details?
It is a legal requirement that anyone providing holiday accommodation must record the identification details of ALL non-Portuguese nationals who use the accommodation, regardless of age. When you make a reservation with us, we are required to report your presence to SEF authorities. To make this as easy as possible, your host will collect all the necessary information ahead of your arrival. If you do not provide this information, you will be refused entry to the accommodation, and no refund will be provided.

Do I need to leave a review?
After each stay, we ask our guests to leave a comment on what they loved and if there is anything that could have been improved. We will work directly with our homeowners to implement these ideas, if possible. Quality is at the core of what we do, so if an experience falls short, we will do our best to improve it as soon as possible.
